Sailing Across the Ocean of Dreams

Sailing across the ocean of dreams,
Feasting on the shivers of stars
I drummed my belly like a drunken pirate
And consumed a hornful of gauzy memories
Collected across twenty-eight seasons of scars
My spirit vibrates with visual melodies
The cinematic proliferation of imageries sublime
Slaps me on my cheek so judicious
As I cheat on a game of chess at my prime
In a makeshift boat made lovely and propitious
Moving slowly on a purple of wavy lights
Like a happy vagabond at the marsh
Mellow, hello say I to a seagull my fellow
An echo of joy across waves, a happy traveler like me
Into the heart of light,
A messenger across oceans, its wings carved with stories
Reminds me of my fateful glory

Selectivity linguistical à la radioactivity egotistical
An express of all height and joy radiant and electrical
In the enclave of a dazzling world
My rhetoric of pen is the translation
of my fire: my poem, a song that is a prayer
I want to laugh with you forever
And hoard a pacific peace, a tremendous love
I am a metaphysical apologist
Turning starlight into song, a lyrical alchemist
A treasure-seeking optimist
Sailing across the ocean of dreams,
Feasting on the shivers of stars
